Short Story -9 - A Short Story - Concentrate on what you can gain instead of focusing on what you lost

There was once a well-known criminal lawyer. His name is William. He was devoted to his responsibilities.

Someone approached him once, while he was arguing in court, and handed him a piece of paper. He appeared worried as he read it, but soon calmed down and resumed the conversation.

He was successful in his lawsuit. When the case was finished, “Something serious?” his pal inquired. “My wife has passed away, and I am returning home,” he said. “How could you continue the case in that situation?” exclaimed the friend, surprised. “I had no choice,” he said.

My wife could not have returned, but if I had gone at that moment, my client would have been sentenced to death.

Similarly, instead of focusing on what you have lost, you should concentrate on what you can gain. We must not allow negativity to weigh us down, and we must always work with a positive attitude.
