Hi Friends,
Today is October 2nd and today we are celebrating Gandhi Jayanti. In this special occupation i would like say special incident from gandhiji's life. Its shows sense of humour of mahatma.
Apart from keeping the democratic revolution alive, Gandhiji also kept his distinct sense of humour alive by infusing it with new life every now and then. In fact, he once observed, "If it hadn't been for my sense of humour, I would have perished a long time ago."
In fact, he once observed, "If it hadn't been for my sense of humour, I would have perished a long time ago."
Here are a few examples of his one-of-a-kind abilities.
"Why do you usually prefer to travel in third class in a train?" a reporter inquired of Gandhiji. "Simply because there isn't a fourth class yet," he explained.
When Gandhiji was about to go for the Round Table Conference in England, a newsman questioned him, "Mr. Gandhi, do you believe you're appropriately dressed to see the King?"
Gandhiji stated: "Don't be concerned with my attire. The King has more than enough clothes for both of us."
A reporter asked Gandhiji once more, "Is it true that one's eating habits effect one's character?" For example, you exclusively drink goat's milk. Does it have an impact on your personality?
"My lovely young fellow, I just had a glass of goat's milk," Gandhiji answered. I'm getting an itching sensation at my temples right now. Perhaps horns are on their way out. So take your belongings and flee for your safety."
When it came to goat's milk, Gandhiji favoured it even when he was travelling. Cow's milk and buffalo milk are now widely offered at railway stops. However, goat milk was a very rare item. Gandhi's infectious sense of humour had clearly rubbed off on those close to him.
